As an example, a ten of clubs and a nine of spades will total be 19. But that's not really the value. Since we are talking about baccarat here, we apply the modulo 10 rule. Simply said that we remove the tens part of a number. Like in our example we have 19, we take away ten and we are left with 9 which in baccarat it is the best hand. Likewise, 21 is one; 35 is five and a 47 is seven.
